Haley Barbour, Bedford Forrest, and William Faulkner
Mississippi governor Haley Barbour's problems with the whole issue of Confederate Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest focus on Forrest's egregious affiliation with the Ku Klux Klan and his command of a massacre of Union troops who were black, and ignore the writings and letters of one William Faulkner (Oxford, Mississippi - Pulitzer Prize winner, Nobel Prize winner) who claims that Forrest was, indeed, a slave trader before the war.

That is the important thing about General Forrest. He sold and bought African men, women, and children. He broke up black families for a dollar. For that, he is burning in hell.

1. People should not own people.

And to be honest, most of that is delusion in metaphor.

Here is how 'owning someone delusion' is created. There are some people that think they collect other peoples souls or control there actions. (It is often called collector doctrine)

That delusion is created by dropping a thought in someones head, then the person seeing something and thinking it was them that did it, when both the person observed, and thinking it had the thought dropped in from a form of a shared dll.

Here is an example, if you think a yellow car will be the next car around a corner. Then a yellow car comes around a corner, you didn't make it happen, the thought was dropped in your mind to make you think you do those things.

That is also why some use 'rituals' if you get someone to use a ritual, and something doesn't happen, they don't think they are not making things happen, they think they did the ritual wrong. LOL. I don't do any of those things, nor think that I choose what occurs with other people, why? because I can support concepts, but don't claim to have the complete knowledge of a person to make a decision for them, people should be free.

3. Tom Jefferson did.
And many others did, too.

Of course it was wrong, but it is unfair to judge people who lived in one epoch by the more's of a later one.

4. I am not sure what you are saying.
Are you supporting Haley Barbour's position on Forrest?

5. Who said I was judging someone?
Edited on Wed Feb-16-11 08:35 PM by RandomThoughts
I was explaining what some think. There are people out there that think they own not your work, not your house or income, they think they own your soul.

They are deluded to think that because they have to have the delusion of something like that to create the superiority complex to then create the ability to treat you badly.
