How about you?

In his radio address today President Obama said:

"I’ve also proposed freezing salaries for hardworking government employees, because everyone has to do their part."

So are all your Wall Street and corporate friends also freezing their pay and bonuses Mr. President?

Oh .... they aren't "everyone".

They are special.

5. Millionaire politicians always find it easy to tell us that they must cut our pay and benefits.

And the rich always cry that it's such a "hard" or "tough" choice for them to make.

Sure it is.

Especially since the decisions they make to cut our benefits have no impact on their personal lives and living standards.

Why don't we get a voice and choice in such matters?

So if I start an Amway distributorship and all my friends and family figure out I roped them into a scam and I lose my shirt, the government will pay for me to buy some Tony Robbins tapes and back my next business venture.

20. Yeah, sure, but in order to do so, my standard of living has to rise quite dramatically to become
comparable to what theirs is now, and that certainly isn't likely to happen anytime soon, if ever.

In fact, my standard of living is MUCH more likely to become worse, than remain as it is presently, since everything that I now depend on for my income has become a juicy target for slashing, if not completely eliminating by the fat-cats in DC.

It certainly looks like "they" believe that we won't "walk like Egyptians", and since it appears that about half the country is willing to vote themselves into oblivion, "they" very well may be correct.

OK.
I'll adjust my annual income in accord with hedge fund manager John Paulson.
He made $4 billion in 2009 and $5 billion in 2010.

So for 2011 I'd like a 25% pay increase.

How's that for doing my part?
