...what it used to be. In this information age, it's easier to track down a retired despot and attempt to seize his ill-gotten gains. And then of course there's that sticky issue of all the nasty things Mr. Despot did to accumulate his ill-gotten wealth and maintain his power. Fewer and few countries are willing to provide refuge for tyrants. And more countries are willing to extradite their asses off to the World Court at The Hague. Torture is considered a crime against humanity. And truly, Pharaoh Hosni may not have anywhere to go. If he does abscond with his estimated $40 Billion in treasure stolen from Egypt, he'll have to spend the rest of his life constantly on guard, with the highest security, always looking over his shoulder. He made many enemies.
