50 years ago. The Beatles play their first show at The Cavern in Liverpool.
John, Paul, George, Stuart and Pete. An unadvertised, lunch time concert. I bet over the years, 10,000 said they were there.

But at the time he had more groupies (a name not coined yet) then Paul. And his mum owned a well known nightclub.

12. Just watched "Nowhere Boy"
If you like that era and music, this movie really shows it well. If you haven't heard about this movie (not many have apparently) it's about the early years of John Lennon and his family life. I don't know how much of it was true, but it was very entertaining.

And yes, it shows the day he met Paul.

The thing that people forget was that this was John's band. But after 'How I Won The War' he was looking for a way out. Very true to John's early life. Well done.
