Toy Guns Would Be Banned Under Proposed Hawaii Legislation

Companion bills submitted to this year’s Hawaii State Legislature aren’t fooling around when it comes to toy guns.

The bills would make it a crime to sell or offer to sell a toy gun to a minor in Hawaii: “Penalty any person who violates this section shall be subject to a fine of not more than $2,000, imprisonment of not more than ninety days, or both,” the legislation says.

....

Nationally, various states and cities have looked at banning sales of realistic-looking toy guns. Last year, a law went into effect in Arkansas barring the sale of toy guns that look real.

2. What about real guns that look like toys?
I once saw a 12ga integrated into the body of (I think) a supersoaker or nerf gun. Pretty neat.
Also there are tons of pretty painted and engraved rifles. The DeWalt and Hello Kitty AR15 rifles come to mind.

5. Good
Clearly Americans aren't mature enough to own guns, so anything that even remotely resembles a real gun should be illegal IMO.
