The new waste-to-energy power plant in Copenhagen ski slope& smoke rings

The old was is pretty ugly and had 6 smokestacks

Waste-to-energy power stations are usually ugly eyesores, but a new power plant planned for Copenhagen is different: it is designed to blow smoke rings and double as a ski slope. The facility has been announced as the winner of a competition to design a new waste-to-energy plant for Copenhagen, with expected completion in 2016.

and this was the winning design

Citizens and visitors can enjoy a ski trip down the slopes of the power station all year round

A collaboration led by the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) has announced that it's been selected to design a new waste-to-power station that doubles as a ski slope leisure center on the outskirts of Copenhagen
