1. Me either
I don't care what anyone says once a person is in a war they will never be the same again. Some can fake it but war touches everyone involved except the armchair troupers who send us and the ones who encourage them to. Fuck the bunch of them, all of them. Them being the afore mentioned gungho bastards who won't partake other than cheering on the dumb asses who think that killing people is ever the answer. Its never the answer.

War is an admission of failure.

2. Me neither. But that's an end run around the issue.
Our tax dollars pay for a lot of things. It is our responsibility to work to elect leaders who spend them in ways we approve of.

"This legislation is really about whether the role of America's government is to continue to fund a practice that takes the lives of over one million little Americans every year," said Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., chairman of the Judicicary subcommittee overseeing the bill to make the Hyde amendment permanent at a hearing today.

4. Sorry, it's the tithe you pay for our national religion
The United States worships at the altar of the High Church of Redemptive Violence. Violence can solve anything! It can even overcome violence. It's one of those "faith" things.
