Prominent Repubs have approached Murdoch & Ailes on Beck Embarrassing Brand
Today, (hat tip/Ben Smith), we have Bill Kristol sticking with the demonstrators and calling out free-range lunatic Glenn Beck, for his hilarious commie-muslim caliphate delusions. This is not unimportant. Kristol lies very close to the throbbing heart of the Fox News sensibility. And I've heard, from more than a couple of conservative sources, that prominent Republicans have approached Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes about the potential embarrassment that the paranoid-messianic rodeo clown may bring upon their brand. The speculation is that Beck is on thin ice. His ratings are dropping, too--which, in the end, is a good part of what this is all about. But I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a mirror-Olbermann situation soon.

1. If this is indeed true, they need to look at Limpballs and O'Lielly too. Oh and Hannity.
If they think these bozo's have done any real good for their "brand" then they are as delusional as Beck.

3. Well then!
GO GLENN! Anything that embarrasses republicans and shakes up the megalithic, corporate media propaganda machine is as good as gold to me.

However, what Beck says and does is, IMHO, reflects their brand and is not entirely of his own making. That suggests another crack in a crumbling wall, then. Or is it a revelation of the inherit schizophrenia of a collective persuasion industry?

7. The only reason Beck hasn't been canceled is because his fans would seek 2nd Amendment Remedies...
... against the people at Fox "News."

8. The whole outfit is an embarrassment to all Americans!
Not just the Republican Party, though that is what we have come to expect of the right.

I find it hilarious that GOP politicians are leaning on a media organization to get in line with their way of thinking. Isn't that what they do in facist/communist countries?

So much for 'small government'. What a load of horseshit!

10. "prominent Republicans "? The prominent republicans now are Beck, Palin, Bachmann, Paul, Limbaugh,
DeMint, Hannity, and the other teabagger leaders.
