Sarah, Sarah, Sarah....Denver Appearance Cancelled Due to
Edited on Sun Feb-06-11 11:29 AM by otohara
supposed "onslaught of negative feedback". I say BULLSHIT!!!

First it was reported that there were threats...then, they toned down the rhetoric to say, well it was "negative feedback".

By the time this story hit the web/TV/newspaper, etc.... it had been canceled. I found only a few mentions of the appearance prior to canceling and now there's hundreds of stories about the cancellation. (6 hours of "feedback" is all it took to cancel) AND, the date of this appearance was to be on the same day of a "Republican" presidential debate at the Reagan Library.

This woman can't stand to be out of the spotlight for more than 3 days.

Saying it received an "onslaught of personal attacks," a Colorado nonprofit announced in a news release Saturday that it was canceling a scheduled May appearance in Glendale by former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Palin, the former Alaskan governor and possible 2012 Republican presidential candidate, was to be the keynote speaker at the May 2 Patriots & Warriors Gala at the Infinity Park Event Center in Glendale.

The event, sponsored by the Sharon K. Pacheco Foundation, was announced Friday. But the group said Saturday that the event had been canceled because of "safety concerns resulting from an onslaught of negative feedback received by the organization."

"Due to an onslaught of personal attacks against Gov. Palin and others associated with her appearance, it is with deep sadness and disappointment that, in the best interest of all, we cancel the event for safety concerns," according to the news release.

3. Palin has two modes. Victim and Reload
Reload mode leads to people's criticism that then leads to Victim mode which inevitably leads to Reload. Two modes are her standard operating procedure.

7. February is "No-Palin Month"
You know, if you want her to go away, the best thing to do is to ignore her!
If google adsense doesn't register any hits on her name, maybe Rupert Murdoch will realize that his investment has dried up, and stop paying her to be such an idiot.

Might want to find a more pleasant way to spend your day, than reposting crap about this crapster that's already been posted here a half dozen times...

Just sayin'!

10. Six Hours
that's how long it took to cancel.

Besides, Sister Sarah candidate or not, will be attending the GOP primary debate on the same date of this event.

She wouldn't pass up the opportunity to be in the loving arms of an adoring audience.

14. This means that the Republicans must not like her.

This rugby stadium is right down the street from a large high net worth development. One which one can guarantee a lot of Republicans live at. I know this because I had family who lived in the development at one time.

Being rich doesn't exactly mean beyond a reasonable doubt that you're a Republican, but it does significantly increase the likelihood of it.

Edited on Sun Feb-06-11 11:57 AM by Urban Prairie
The Sharon K. Pacheco Foundation apparently never got the memo that Palin quit the AK governor's office about midway through her first term.

The foundation also said that no "direct threats have been made against anyone".

IMO, Palin's scheduled keynote speech in Glendale reeks of being a complete setup, the cancellation being made months in advance, to make it appear that their heroine Sarah is in much more grave personal danger, than Giffords ever was, prior to when she was shot and badly wounded last month by Jared Loughner.

Pretty sure she doesn't speak anywhere for free and this event is to raise money for families of soldiers- how can they raise money when they have to shell out $100K to pay this idiot?

27. from the Post comments section, page 4, not far from the top:
by slavetotheflyrod on Today, 8:41 am

The Sharon K. Pacheco Foundation is not registered with the Colorado Secretary of State to solicit charitable funds in Colorado.

Its business filings with the Secretary of State have been habitually delinquent since it was incorporated in 2001.

Its 2009 IRS Form 990 EZ (the tax return required of very small nonprofit organizations) showed) reported zero contributions in 2009, and only $1,000 in 2008. Its total assets in 2009 were $2,204.

A quick search of their facebook page and website reveals that one of the things the foundation purports to raise funds for is a summer camp for children that have lost a parent or loved one in combat known as "Camp lifeline" I googled up Camp lifeline, and in 5 pages of results all I'm able to find is links to the foundation's pages, none of which contain anything more than a quick blurb about the camp. I find it hard to believe that an organization dedicated to such a noble cause has somehow since 2001 escaped the attention of the media. Furthermore, it's quite likely that if anyone had ever attended one of these alleged camps that there would be something posted somewhere, perhaps facebook, a blog entry, a photobucket entry, but no, nothing.

and the FAT CATS who were really financing the whole freakshow are no longer handing out money.

They'll be back in the game for the "little people" when it's time for them to vote again.. That's they ONLY time any rich folks in the R column ever cares about them anyway..

They are a pretty "cheap" date too.. pack 'em into buses, hand 'em a box lunch & some Crayola markers / poster board & turn
em loose.

The money-men (who would never be caught dead on a bus) laugh their asses off at the antics of their hired "helpers", but they know their votes are necessary..and they are fun to watch.

But I understand they have some tolerances. I been full spectrum blasting. Maybe individual focus might be another thought to contemplate. Since it's about helping many, been focusing on many, more logistical, then targeting. got a few package lists though.
