Last night, Senate Democrats successfully and unanimously defeated a GOP attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act, 47-51.

All the Republicans who were present voted in favor of the repeal bill proposed by Minority Leader McConnell that cleared the House last month. Although we're not surprised by this outcome, it's still mind-boggling that Republicans keep choosing to side with insurance companies when they could be standing up for working families.

How will Republican Senators explain to their constituents their proposal to take away coverage from the 32 million Americans who would gain it under the healthcare law? If they were being truthful about the full impact of repeal, it might look a little like this:
