Have any of you heard about this "Internet Kill Switch"?

There are several bills floating around both theHouse & the Senate that if passed, would give the President the power to "Kill" or shut off the Internet in case of a cyber emergency. Someone called Norman Goldman's Show tonight asking if he had heard anything about it & Norm hadn't but he said he'd check it out. I decided to do a bit of checkung myself and both Parties are involved in these bills. Am I being paranoid when I say this scares me? I'd trust Obama with hat kind of power but I sure wouldn't have trusted Shrub! I listed 2 of the links I found but there are any more out there. What do you think of this?

The Republicans have every intention of taking over again. You know there will be another "Terrorist Attack" to get you back in the all fear, all the time mode.
