Kansans for Life having prayer rally in public school across the street from where Tiller was killed
Just got this message. Please help us call these school board members.

Kansas NOW is shocked to learn that Kansans for Life is holding a "prayer" rally at a local public school.

The subject of the KFL email is ominously titled.... "WARNING" and states "Abortionist(s) may be setting up a killing center in Wichita. We NEED God’s protection and guidance. Without it, our city will be plagued by those preying on women and killing children, once again."

The hate rally is to be held at 7:00 Friday, February 4 at Coleman Middle School in Wichita, KS.

It is almost unbelievable that this kind of event is to take place in a taxpayer funded facility, especially one where children receive their education. It is especially sad considering that Dr. George Tiller was shot in the head in the church right across the street, by a zealot encouraged by the type of people that will be praying in this school.

I contend that the "killing of children" (their language, not mine) should not be allowed into a place of learning, a place that is supposed to be teaching our youth a spirit of tolerance...not hatred.

We should have consideration the mothers, the families that surely attend that school that have experienced abortion first hand. These women should not be demonized in a public school that should be fostering a spirit of community, not division.

WE NEED YOU TO CALL IN TOMORROW!!!

The Wichita Public School policy (P3020) on Community Use of Buildings, Grounds, and Equipment states...

"no meeting shall be held in a district building or on district property for the purpose of advancing any doctrine or theory subversive to the Constitution or laws of the State of Kansas or the United States or for the purpose of advocating social or political change by violence."

Our right to privacy IS guaranteed by the Constitution, KFL advocates for the intrusion of that privacy by advocating for the overturning of Roe V Wade. The title of their email indicates the violence they have in mind..."WARNING".

PLEASE CALL THIS NUMBER TOMORROW!

Executive Assistant: Judy Elam
