I know the situation is "fluid", and I know that it must play out as it will, but our leadership needs to realize that the media has dead-air to fill..lots of it, and if no one from our side is available to step in, republicans have stables full of these retreads, just champing at the bit to be interviewed so they can slip in their code-words of the day..

c'mon..

Now would be a WONDERFUL time to be offering up the scholars of our party, to give some FACTUAL information about the region, the history and policies involving the middle east.
