3. So how did it feel
to spend all that money on car that goes faster than any state will allow or public road can sustain? Was the owner needing a BJ so badly that he was willing to die in the process of getting one?

4. Who needs a vehicle that can go that fast? No one needs to drive faster than 75 mph
If were gonna ban magazines that hold more than 10 rounds because no one "needs" that many, then certainly, no one "needs" a car that can go faster than the speed limit, right?

5. There are places in the world that don't have a speed limit..
And Porche is not made in the US.

8. Ah, an import ban might be needed to keep these dangerous cars off the streets of the US.

from time to time... or at least a governor. Me. nothing more impressive than seeing a Ferrari, IN PIECES, at the bottom of a canyon.

27. Nonsense, especially with intelligent speed adaption technology available
Any GPS linked electronic speed limitation system like the one in the Nissan GT/R would solve the problem. In Japan the GT/R is limited to 112 mph unless the GPS sees that you have pulled into the coordinates of a racetrack then it shuts the limiter off.

25. this will sound crazy
and not make any friends, but it always seemed weird to me that cars didn't have a governer in them to limit speed to say 90 mph if they are licensed for highway

10. El Toro Road is deadly...
At that speed! Too many blind curves. My dad used to live on that street... always debris in the gutters.

The OC is full of cars like that.

26. I never even wanted to drive my sister's Porsche
I just could not see the point to a car that was uncomfortable to sit in, too small to carry much in, and that would rip its undercarriage off coming up my driveway!

The only time I got to drive it was when she was too drunk to drive.

Those were some of the best free drinks I ever gave to anyone, evah!

I see tons of kids in POS hondas and toyotas trying to emulate Fast and Furious wrecking their cars. Stupid drivers are stupid.

That roof is probably history, and considering it shredded a light pole, we're probably getting the best view of it.

38. Don't make my husband cry!
Seriously, we have a 1978 911. Most parts are in our garage, built ca. 1929. We have other parts in our living room, also built ca. 1928. And people constantly wonder why I don't want to host a party in our historic home!
