2. this IS nuts...
here in Philly, we're sweating out another massive storm as well: 16 inches on my property today - almost unbelievable last night watching the snow just dump! We had all this snow in about 5 hours...incredible to watch. My power went off at 12:15 AM, came back on at 2 AM, guy plowed me out at 2:30, cleaned off my car and drove into town at 4:30 AM - all roads snow-covered and difficult but just passable...and here I've been working up until now...soon, back in the car for the exciting ride home to the drifts...

11. Safe home. and we are due for more snow over the weekend.....
x(

Took me two hours to dig my car out today....and I could not drive it down my street once it was clear of the snow. Too much snow on the street...very icy, slushy and deep.

I wonder when I will be able to drive again...

4. Everyone in our NY office...
Is working from home today. I had to be ornery... I had to let them know that here in Los Angeles, we're expecting a chill factor of 75 degrees:)

Of course the resident GOTPers are calling it proof positive there's no global warming... ignoring the fact that the record snow is a direct indication of record evaporation/water in the air.

5. Conn is breaking records as well.
I had 13 inches from the Nor'easter and 3 inches from the Clipper yesterday. Add to that the 11" snowfall back in early Jan, and the 21" storm on Jan 13 plus the blizzard in Dec and this winter is shaping up to break all the records.

9. Neighborhood kids were sledding down the piles of snow made by the plows.
The piles are at least 10 feet tall and very wide. (I'm northwest of Hartford.)

I cringe at the thought of what may happen otherwise.
