It's all McCain's fault!
When McCain picked Palin as his running mate, he opened the door to all this tea party BS. Her ignorance was admired by many, her wink wink don't cha know schtick made her the darling of the dumb. Then, she went "rogue", and that tickled even more folks.
Not to mention shooting and cleaning bears moose and elk. That put her in good stead with the gun crowd. Now we have elected Representatives who are proud tea-partiers. Somehow, McCain and his failed vetting process, has to bear some responsiblity for this.

3. Did he really pick her, or was she chosen for him?
I get the feeling she was picked FOR him (that he was told in no uncertain terms, like Ronald Reagan, who his running mate would be), for some unknown reason.... that produced a failure. :think:

4. No, I heard that McGramps overrode the favorite (I forget who now)
and PERSONALLY chose Sarah......much to the shock of just about everyone involved with his campaign.
