CNN Teaming With Tea Party For Republican Presidential Debate
CNN

CNN announced Friday that it has teamed up with the Tea Party Express to host what it is calling a "first-of-its-kind Tea Party presidential primary debate" in September 2011.

The Republican debate will be held during the Labor Day week in Tampa, Florida. In a statement, CNN said the debate will place special emphasis on issues that the Tea Party has been "vocal in advocating," including less government spending, lower taxes and a smaller deficit.

In the same statement, CNN political director Sam Feist said that "undecided voters turn to CNN to educate themselves during election cycles, so it is a natural fit for CNN to provide a platform for the diverse perspectives within the Republican Party, including those of the Tea Party."

after all, CNN helped create this Monster with their breathless, live coverage of every move of the "Tea Party". :puke:

Imagine if CNN had given such coverage to the millions of anti-war protestors --- fuck, we'd own the country by now!

7. Oh, they must mean they're going to host a Republican Extremist Nutcase debate.
Pretending at this point that the Teabaggers are a separate party is completely disingenuous. But, gotta keep that completely media-invented bullshit going.

8. This is a good thing, isn't it? Let's hear what they say about Social Security and Medicare.

I have the impression, some want to cut Social Security and Medicare.
Others don't. I'd like to hear them hash this out in public.

Hopefully, the elderly, who I believe voted in large numbers for the Republicans in 2010, will be listening.

It's time the Tea Party people say what they will cut...the devil is always in the details.
The elderly might find some of the details not to their liking.
