Paul Ryan went through high school on his dead father's social security?!!
You know, the guy who wants to do away with SS, to turn it into a hammock or whatever.

Yep, his family got SS when his dad died.

What the F is wrong with these people?

Democrats are grateful for the help we sometimes get from others and the government.

Republicans think they are entitled but no one else is.

From a great snarky piece in Esquire:

4. I went through college on my father's social security
Although he contributed to social security most of his life, he never collected.
But thankfully, when he passed far too soon (at 61) I was supported by social security
while I finished college. (I was 20 when he passed).

Before social security there wasn't much.

8. "What is wrong with these people?" They assume there is a hierarchy of superiority & they place
higher in that eternal order of things than you do, which gives them privileges that you don't deserve.

Either they assume they are a type of royalty or that they are divine.

9. He's living a life "of complacency and dependency."
From Ryan last night:

"We are at a moment, where if government's growth is left unchecked and unchallenged, America's best century will be considered our past century. This is a future in which we will transform our social safety net into a hammock, which lulls able-bodied people into lives of complacency and dependency."

14. He who yells loudest, is usually the biggest hypocrite of that issue from the GOP.
I've noticed that even Oxycontin users like Rush Limbaugh are always the first and the loudest to condemn illegal drug use.

15. This is so typical of Republican hypocrisy.
I'm sorry that Ryan lost his father at such an early age, but he has NO right to deny others the benefits HE received through the labor of his father... through the labor of all of us!

21. they did away with that
now kids of the disabled and deceased get benefits only until they finish high school. Makes college much more difficult for those those trying to get by and provide a future for their kids.
