Fantasy Cabinet Redistribution

There's obviously a lot of pork in each department that could be axed. There are also some departments that I am not very familiar with, and I'd like to hear other opinions about what could be moved and what could be ditched.





State: I'd put the BIA under here.

Defense: I'm not sure how I would break down the Army Corps, but part of it would stay under DoD and part of it would move to interior or agriculture. The VA would be moved here.

Justice: I'd ditch the DEA entirely and redistribute some of its tasks to customs, border patrol, and FBI.

Interior: I'd put EPA, the Forest Service, and NOAA under Interior. I'd put the BIA under the State Department.

Agriculture: I'd strip out the Forest Service and put it under Interior, and I'd put rural development under the reorganized HUD.

Commerce: I'd pull NOAA out and put it under Interior

Labor, Health and Human Services, and Housing and Urban Development could probably be streamlined into one or two departments.

Veterans Affairs: I'd put this entirely under Defense

Homeland Security

Transportation

Energy

Education

Treasury
