How long do you have to expose that for to get those results?

6. I think it varies.
"Today we bring you an enticing article about long exposure photography. Long exposure photography is a technique in which a camera’s shutter is left open to expose over a longer period of time (be it 8 seconds or 8 hours). It is quite famous, trendy and somewhat difficult form of photography that allows you to witness things from a different perspective and lets you experience time in a different fashion. It enlightens your imagination to see beyond the face of an image, and to see what it can become."

7. Probably 20 seconds or more.
You can probably figure it would take a car about 20 seconds to navigate one of the curves in the top pic, as shown by tracing the taillights. The start line is the near-most end of one of the red traces; the finish line is the far-most end.

Here if the Exif data.

Digital cameras record all those details forever. Exif allows that data to be copied with the image and easily shared.
Pretty cool. You can use the info from other photographer's shots to setup your own shots. Shutter, aperature, lens, etc.

11. From the link in OP. Each photo is linked to original on flikr.
On flikr, once at a photo > click on actions > See Exif to get shot details.

12. Thanks, I just figured it out.
As for EXIF, I have written that meta data into file headers, so I know a little about that.
