14. "He just feels smug and smarmy to me" - I thought it was
just me. I watched him only because he filled the spot between Rachel and the repeat KO. It could have been fill in the blank.

I dropped MSNBC last night. I don't mean boycott. I mean that channel no longer appears on my TV.

4. I wrote COMCAST...
I actually had been thinking about a bundled solution for small business that included cable and high speed internet, as my credit union had sent me the promotion and it was a really could deal for a start up business.

So, that gave me the perfect opportunity to tell them WHY I will not be bringing them any new business.

Their online email system requires you to give an email address and phone number associated with the account. I obviously don't have an account, but any valid phone number will apparently go through. They won't let the field remain blank, however.

6. "Anyone"? Probably yes, but me--no since I never watch MSNBC.
Or any of the other news or commentary channels either.

8. Me too; had it on all day as background.
I've got a thing about having the TV on 24/7. I know it's not healthy, but it makes the house seem less lonely when my kids are in school and hubby is at work. MSNBC will now be reserved for Rachel only, then back to CNN.

9. I wrote them a very firm letter last night.
I expressed my disapproval of Keith's dismissal, and of the Comcast deal. And I'm calling NBC in New York on Monday morning to do it again.

I was an MSNBC viewer for years...regularly for about 10 years, and off and on for another few before then. I used to watch it throughout the day, but am through with them after this. It was bad enough when Donahue was let go, but KO getting the boot is the last straw; I'll get my Maddow fix through other sources. Almost anything that's worth seeing is posted here on DU (typically via YT) anyhow, so this site and the other Dem/liberal-friendly sites I frequent, along with NPR and PBS, will be my news sources of choice. And there's always C-Span, if I want to watch live coverage of anything from Washington.

That, PBS, and NPR are my mainstays.

15. Amy is fabulous!
I LOVE Democracy Now! She speaks the truth. I have DirecTV, so I have 6 chances to see her, between LinkTV and FSTV (and those two are on my list, as well).

10. I wrote to them last night
I let them know that I watched msnbc faithfully every night and often during the day. I let them know that I'm not going to reward their jack-assery with my continued viewership.

After I watch two shows that are on demand I'm calling comcast to cancel. They can bite me.

11. They Don't Care!
Don't waste your time, the letters will not get read and will make no difference. Million dollar CEO wheelers and dealers could not give less of a damn about a handful of Average Joes. You can always start a boycott where, if successful, their stock might drop a penny for two minutes before rebounding because they now control the information and the means by which millions get the information. If it makes you feel better, get a Voodoo doll, name it after the CEO and stick pins in it for a bit.
