17. I was responding to the right wing meme there is no market
for liberal networks. The rightwing has been able to increase control of the media through ownership, not demand.

8. Current TV has devolved into total crap
Whatever grand scheme was introduced in the beginning has devolved into garbage -- viral video and endless replays of crap.

12. We already have HuffPo we don't need another one, but...
but we DO need a REAL liberal TV network.
A network that does NOT have Joe Scarbourough or Pat Buchanann on it at all.
I really hope that Keith finds some billionaires to fund a new network!
That would be AWESOME :)

Wonder what they'd call it?

PLN - Professional Left Network
TTT - Talking The Truth
FUR - Fuck You Republicans

Okay, I'm not good at making things up, anyone else got a good name? :)

14. Well that is a very interesting article, because ....
Edited on Sun Jan-23-11 02:27 AM by Tx4obama
it mentions the Carlyle, and I read earlier today that Keith had dinner at the Carlyle last night after his show!
If they are going to start a new network, I'd love to send 'em my resume`.

p.s. Dear Mr. Nicolas Berggruen, if you are a reader here at DU you may send me a private message :)
p.s.s. I love lobster, can speak Italian, I'm totally free to move anywhere in the world, and I know how to live out of a backpack.

15. We don't need a liberal network. We need
one with journalistic integrity that reports the unvarnished factual truth in the news backed with credible sources. Of course that would seem liberal to lying liars cable news network.
