As usual, people completely ignoring what i post on DU3.
They are too busy crowing about what a victory for liberalism the ACA and the government shutdown is :(

1. I recommended both.
And replied to both. I didn't see them before. Thanks for calling our attention to your OPs.

2. Oh I didn't mean people here, Enthusast. That's why I posted. Thanks so much. :)
It's just sad and frustratign when the board moves twice as fast on DU3 as it used to and yet the people there don't ever reply to people they don't know or agree with. Only stuff that's really popular stays afloat, so it's become like, um, Reddit or something like that.

Winner take all mentality? Try winner is the only person worth listening to :(

3. Oh yeah I apologize for the Nixon pony
He looks a bit creepy with two fingers on each hoof. :o

But I was looking for something newspaper-related.

7. Ponies don't need to be able to make peace signs. They never start wars.

Besides, peace signs would be very phony on Nixon's part, given Vietnam and his secret, unconstitutional bombing of Cambodia and Lord only knows what else.

And ponies don't know how to be phony, either.

:-)

Besides, I don't know if Nixon intended his awkward gestures as peace signs. Maybe he was doing Victory signs, ala Churchill during WWII. "My own party begged me to resign, rather than have them vote with Democrats to impeach and convict me. I won!!111!!!"

8. Yeah, Nixon's were victory signs. I wonder if more people remember them as the latter now.

I meet very few pacifists and even in my hometown which used to be kind of a hippie town there are very few people who think differently than the average moderately conservative individual? Outside of a few hobby horse issues that costs nopony to support.

Whoa, that was an unintentional pun.

I am sorry that you did not get the replies you wanted.

Glad you posted here, though, because it's always nice to see you.

I really liked your pics of the capitol building.

And your take on obsolesence.

I guess a certain kind of post gets a lot of attention, but I am not sure what kind that would be.

You did get some replies, though.

Either way, you cannot take it personally.
