Al Jazeera bought Al Gore's Current TV station!

Time Warner promptly dropped Current.

We are pissed off! Time Warner has yet to respond to my angry e-mail. So I do not know their reason for dropping Current. I suspect it is because they do not want an Al Jazeera voice. We are very disappointed in Time Warner, disappointed enough to go back to Dish Network.

I'm listing to Stephanie Miller online, where I would ordinarily watch her and the Bill Press on Current every morning. We also watched The Young Turks.

1. Someone does not want Al Jazeera on cable tv, period.

2. They are on Free Speech TV and

carried on Dish Network. Al Jazeera's News seems far more objective than CNN etc. Of course the powers that be have no desire for objective TV journalism. Ever watched Al Jazeera?

3. Funny you should ask. Once.

On 9/12, I watched Al Jazeera Arabic with the Lebanese woman with whom I was staying because I my flight from Houston to Boston was supposed to be on 9/11, sometime after 9, but before noon, but never took off.

Unlike American TV, which had sanitized the videos, Al Jazeera Arabic showed all the fallinFg bodies.


For once, I was grateful to American media for keeping the whole truth from us.

It was hard enough to see on 9/12. i don't know if i could have taken it on 911.

I heard the news about Current TV as well. I may switch to Dish as well.

From where I sit: The entire system is rotten to the core.

I have been reviewing the 'Tax Bill.' Geez, the rate on the Rich goes from 35 to 39.6%....wow, that'll teach 'em. And Corporations are given mucho credits. Even NASCAR. When it started being aired on the major MSM channels, I knew our civilization was doomed...and sure enough it has been downhill ever since!

So can I say bad things about the Dems when they deserve it?

Now DC moves on to the SPENDING CUTS....it's going to be brutal. The elderly are going to become road kill. Here in OH, they've mentioned getting rid of Hospice Care for those on Medicaid.

Oh, and did you read that American troops are going into 35 African countries??? I knew this was a matter of time....the last continent to rape of resources. China has been buying up Africa's fertile land so to grow crops to take back to China. China has money. We have guns/bombs.

It's pretty bad when I'm hoping for Mother Nature to tilt on her axis and end this damn globalization and oppression. Let the Greedy drown or fly off into outer space. Hey, I can dream.

Think I'll go watch 'V is for Vendetta'....that'll cheer me up. LOL.
