so I'm flipping through channels (I only get local stations), and I see this horrible mass murder by the 20 yr old guy, and to hear yet another gun nut who's the guest on local fox saying "guns didn't kill anybody", and he said if all the teachers had locked up in their desks, not as many would have died. blah blah blah... Yes, we all need armed! everyone needs to be locked and loaded!

I'm for some form of gun ownership.... but whatever this is - this isn't it.

may those killed RIP, I feel so sorry for their families. :(

(updated, correct number not including the killer who was buzzed into the school!)

1. At the least there should be restrictions on magazine capacity.
Of course the NRA would tell their members that such a restriction is proof that Obama is going to take their guns away. It is beyond ridiculous.

Constitutional right.

Of course, to do that, the so-called originalist had to decide that some of the words in the Constitution had no meaning whatsoever, but were "surplusage."

A very brief Constitution to run a new nation under new concepts--and it contained words that were never, from Day One, intended to have any meaning whatsoever?

Ridiculous!

But that is how an "originalist" blends his rw agenda with the Constitution of the U.S., while claiming to do nothing but find the original intent.

Nice trick, too, since the Framers disagreed with each other.
