Finally got my answer on why so many started saying "Bowles Simpson" instead of "Simpson Bowles."

Chris Matthews spoke to Simpson yesterday and referred to the Commission as "Bowles Simpson.: (aside from anything else, why would anyone speaking to Simpson call it Bowles Simpson, rather than Simpson Bowles??) Simpson corrected him, saying you might get the wrong acronym.

O.K. Bowles Simpson it is, then.

1. I'm sure they want the

disturbing recommendations of the Simpson-Bowles commission to be associated with a "Democrat" so they reversed the order. I want a government teat!

2. I am good with abbreviating to the B.S. Commission. BTW, the Commission is already associated with

a Democrat, the Democrat who conceived of it (with a little help from the DLC) and brought it into existence, President Obama.
