Elizabeth Warren changed her ads. I am going to try calling her campaign office
again to see if anything changed there.

As I had posted on another thread, there has been a likeability gap between Brown and Warren, per Barney Frank. And I did not think her ads compared well with his on that issue.

Well, it seems that, no sooner did I post about it than her ads changed the approach. (Funny how that happens, sometimes.) The ads running now have less of her talking and more of individuals saying the good things she has done, with her saying pleasantly at the end that she approved the message.

I mentioned this to one of my fellow political junkies and he said he'd heard that people had taken her aside at the Democratic National Convention.

Don't know if what he heard is true or where he heard it.

1. I dread seeing another Dem defeat in the seat Ted held so long
when he passed, and I made an OP highlighting all he had done in his long career, none of us who voiced our tributes to Edward M Kennedy would have imagined it not being a Dem held seat...

2. Update: Both campaign now have gone negative.
The first change in the ads was that they took Warren out of them and had people praising her.

Brown had done the same, with DEMOCRATS who had held office in Massachusetts praising him, but he also comes across very likeable when he is the only person in his ads. Warren comes across as earnest and determined, but not especially likeable.

I wonder when folks will start making a distinction between the candidate who seems like he or she would make the most enjoyable beer drinking budddy and the candidate who seems like he or she would make the best Senator.

Capuano just endorsed her, as did the Governor. No surprise, they are both Massachusetts Democrats. Also as expected, McCain just endorsed him.
