Lawyers: Bullet switched at trial of RFK's assassin
USA Today: http://content.usatoday.com/communities/ondeadline/post/2011/11/lawyers-bullet-did-not-come-from-gun-of-rfks-assassin-/1?csp=Dailybriefing

"A bullet taken from the neck of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy was switched at trial because it did not come from the gun of convicted assassin Sirhan Sirhan, his lawyers argue.

The Associated Press says the claim comes in new documents filed with the California attorney general in a bid to overturn Sirhan's conviction for killing Kennedy in June 1968 after he won the state's Democratic primary.

The lawyers allege that new audio tests on recordings show 13 bullets were fired from multiple guns, five more than Sirhan could have fired."

3. Yeah
Personally I have no doubt that JFK was killed by our own people. We have so many secret government agencies who knows which one did it. I also wonder who controls any presidents decisions since that time. Are there subtle threats made if things are not done as the military complex wishes?

4. Probably. As more and more is apparent today on how the US operates, I'm not
surprised at anything anymore. Politicians come and go, but those with the "real" money and power remain. Often politicians are just window dressing to appease the masses while the real power operates behind a cloak of secrecy IMO.

8. It might be fun to see,
but the evidence points in only one direction - the CIA killed JFK. See James Douglass' "JFK and the Unspeakable" in which a mountain of evidence is amassed and documented.

16. I think that's very likely the case, but many groups wanted to see JFK dead.
And it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the CIA had some help. I know that Johnson helped with the coverup, at the very least.

19. I think Garrison had it right
The more they leaned on him, the guiltier they looked.

A billion dollar contract to build Cam Rhan Bay was a
fine reason to get him gone.

I remember our 1st grade teacher coming in crying
and telling us we had to go home.

26. If "the Mafia" did it alone, then DiCaprio is selling out, sorry to say...

At the time, the mafia was working with the CIA on plots against Castro. Various factions saw an opportunity and jumped on it, also overlapping with the DIA, FBI, paramilitary groups, anti-Castro groups...mostly extreme anti-Communists who saw JFK working with Krushchev behind their backs as being traitorous.

29. I heard about that
It's possable there was Mob Involvement.Remmber the Mafia was Involved In plots to Kill Castro. They added In US Invasion of Italy and Scilia during world War II.Reports
say they helped fix elections In Italy In 1948 to make sure communists didn't win.In all these Cases The CIa(and It's world War II Predasuccor The OSS) was calling the
shots. The real shooters of JFk were probally Mafia hired(the Man who Killed Kennedy Documanty series hinted the real shooters could have been French Hitman)

In case of RFk Sirhan defently fired. The autopsy of RFK said the fatal hits were at close blank range from behind. He never got close to fire shoots point blank.Sirhan
may have been a real life Manchurian Candate.Creating programal Assassins Isn't just fiction. The CIA had a program MKUltra trying to create them.Records of that program
were destroyed while George Bush was CIA Director.SIrhan has never been able to discribe what happened when RFK was killed even when he wanted to be seen as a Martyer
to arab world.

in the heat and confusion of the moment? I don't think Sirhan was the only one allegedly carrying a weapon at that terrible moment and place.

As far as JFK is concerned, I think Hartmann is referencing the fact that in the time period in which JFK was shot, there were conspiracies to assassinate the President that we now know of, in Chicago and Miami, I believe. Whether the Oswald shooting was a coincidence (if he did it) or part of the same far-reaching plot, we may never know.

32. I think we may never know, time is passing, many have died from that period and
today has immediate pressing problems. It's a shame. I think they're a lot of unsettled questions for both JFK and RFK.

13. RFK Must Die Movie.
I watched this a year or so ago on satelite TV and considered RFK's death a straightforward case closed event. I was the most involved in that election cycle, 1968, than any until POTUS Obama. I started out for McCarthy but ended up for RFK but was too young to vote.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1047517/

Speculation about the 1968 assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy is fueled by the new documentary RFK Must Die: The Assassination of Bobby Kennedy by Shane O'Sullivan, an independent researcher. The film is an expansion of a BBC broadcast in 2006 by Mr. Sullivan attempting to prove that CIA operatives were present at the Ambassador the night of the assassination and may have been involved in the events that took place that horrible night. Sullivan believes that the CIA targeted Kennedy because of his role in the Bay of Pigs invasion, his pledge to end the War in Vietnam, and his vow to reopen the investigation into the murder of his brother if he became President.

Though Sirhan Sirhan was arrested, tried, and convicted for the RFK killing and is now serving a life sentence for murder, he still maintains that he has no recollection of the shooting and his easy susceptibility to hypnosis has led to speculation that he may have been a programmed "Manchurian Candidate". Additionally, other tantalizing facts have emerged that raise questions as to whether or not others may have been involved in the shooting. Seven bullets were removed from bodies, an eighth bullet was traced through two ceilings, and two more bullets (labeled as such on FBI photographs) were identified as lodged in the door frame of the pantry by both LAPD and FBI personnel, yet Sirhan's gun could hold only eight bullets. Astonishingly, these door frames and ceiling tiles containing bullet holes were destroyed by the LAPD shortly before the trial of Sirhan Sirhan along with 2,410 photographs taken during the investigation.

This information is doubly disturbing fact in light of the subsequent coroners report that declared that all three of the bullets striking Kennedy entered from the rear and no more than one to three inches from Kennedy's ear (Sirhan was estimated to be between three to six feet in front of the Senator). The three senior CIA officials identified in the film are David Morales, Gordon Campbell, and George Joannides and two of them can be seen moving away from the hotel pantry shortly after the shooting. Morales was known to be a violent and ruthless man with an explosive temper. He was involved in the capture and killing of Ché Guevara and had boasted to friends after both Kennedy brothers had been killed, "I was in Dallas when we got the son of a bitch and I was in Los Angeles when we got the little bastard."

Also site for the movie and book plus updates.

15. A kitchen full of witnesses
If someone wants to argue that Sirhan had help that is one thing. Don't claim that he is innocent. There was a whole kitchen full of witnesses, including people who held him down after the shooting. The official story was that Sirhan was upset that RFK supported Israel.

I often wondered if former football star Rosie Greer was disturbed that he wasn't able to stop the shooting, considering he was the security guard. Later, serious presidential candidates were given secret service protection.

of the confusion when Sirhan started firing to make certain RFK was killed.
