Newt calls for "Drug Testing" before "Any Kind Of Federal Aid" - I Say-LETS START AT THE TOP!
Edited on Tue Nov-29-11 06:46 AM by kpete

Let's start at the top and work down. The greatest savings would come from those who get the most from the federal government. How about testing the head of any corporation that gets government contracts, tax breaks, etc. Where's that birth certificate Newt? Were you born a newt or were you turned into one?

AND DON'T FORGET CONGRESS
lets start with anyone who works for congress and make it random - any violation means forfeit all benefits - health insurance and pensign.

Newt Gingrich’s Latest Assault On The Constitution: Drug Test Americans Before They Get ‘Any Kind Of Federal Aid’

................

GINGRICH: I think that we need to consider taking more explicit steps to make it expensive to be a drug user. It could be through testing before you get any kind of federal aid. Unemployment compensation, food stamps, you name it.

4. Presidential candidates would be an excellent place to start.
Maybe a Myers-Briggs test, too. I'll bet Newt's M-B results are one of his most closely guarded secrets--he doesn't want proof that he's antisocial to be public knowledge.

9. "Antisocial" isn't something the MBTI tests for
and there's nothing wrong with being asocial (nb: not antisocial) or introverted.

20. Okay, I'll drop the MB part.
But I stand by my evaluation of him as ruthless, remorseless, amoral, callous, calculating, and promiscuous, just like most of the other sociopaths, psychopaths, ASPDs, or whatever they're calling them these days.

His ambitions are only limited by his own calculations of what he can get away with--and he's gotten away with everything so far. If he ever gets within a handful of bullets from the Presidency, he'll use 'em.

7. yeah, how's the "shrink government down to where you can
drown it in a bathtub" working for the thugs? Exactly how much money and how big is he going to grow a government that's already "too large" in their estimation in order to drug test "any kind of federal aid"?

Tell you what, newtie--when the next natural disaster rolls through and flattens your house, how about you stand in line for a fucking drug test and then wait the weeks or months for a result that is not false positive or whateveer to come in before you can go stand in another line to apply for federal assistance.

You first, ya pig.

14. And that includes corporate federal aid, right?
So no tax breaks, bailouts, or contracts unless EVERYONE working for a beneficiary corporation tests negative for all illicit substances.

They get a lot more money than welfare mothers and jobless people do. It seems only fair.

16. People who run for office should be the first in line...
seeing that they receive federal pay/benefits, the results should be made public too. Also, there should be random drug testing for them as well.

19. How about JOBS?
People are hurting.
They want the pain to go away.
Since they can't find a JOB to get them out of their situation, they turn to self-medicating with some substance to kill (or at least dull) the pain.

Unlike the rich, who use drugs for shits and giggles and "recreation".

But that's just that Authoritarian Calvinism kicking into gear there. Blame the disadvantaged, because they pissed-off Gawd somehow and deserve their miserable lot in life.

and abase themselves before they can receive any help. But you have to bear in mind that his position back in the 90s was that recipients of federal aid should undergo drug testing at the Mengele Institute. So, in just ten years, Newt has moderated quite a bit.
