Brownback Apologises
Brownback issued a statement attempting to put an end to the media circus.

"My staff over-reacted to this tweet and for that I apologize," Brownback said. "Freedom of speech is among our most treasured freedoms."

I'll credit him with one thing. It's an actual apology as opposed to the typical republikkan apology of, "If anyone was offended." or "If I've offended anyone..."

6. I apologize that my staff are a bunch of overreacting douchebags, in essence!
But at least he said something. He'll still be Sir Blowsalot in the eyes of the kiddies, but at least he hasn't been totally Santorum'd.

5. Those bastards fold when common people stand up to them.
Congrats to the Kansas high school girl. She didn't back down when confronted by state bullying.
