Given that Republicans apparently see this as an acceptable defence of the latest Cain allegations
Cain's lawyer, Lin Wood, issued a statement on his behalf, drawing a distinction beween this case and the earlier three women.

"This is not an accusation of harassment in the workplace – this is not an accusation of an assault - which are subject matters of legitimate inquiry to a political candidate. Rather, this appears to be an accusation of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults - a subject matter which is not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public," Wood said.

Given this, Wood said Cain felt no obligation to answer media questions. Wood's statement did not contain a denial.

Why did they go after Clinton over Monica Lewinsky again?

3. They will claim it is because he lied during a deposition.
Which he did. I loved the big dog, but now I see that I was blinded by my trust in him, he was DLC and passed NAFTA, which has been a disaster for American workers. The giant sucking sound of good middle class IT and software jobs going overseas was brought in by NAFTA.

4. A consentual Affair? Wasn't Clinton's a consentual affair?
Didn't th GOP wholly own righteousness during the Clinton Impeachment?

Wasn't fidelity to one's wife priority number one to the Christian Family Values Repugnant Party? (except for "Patriotic" Newt of course)

This POS Cain never intended to get the nomination, I don't know why he is still in the race. He obviously has absolutely no sense of shame. His wife either loves him waaayyy too much to dump him or likes the lifestyle too much to give it up.

9. Hypocrites
No surprise there - Hypocrite has a synonym, Republican.

When it was Clinton is showed "unfit character" and reflected badly on the office. It meant the President could be subject to blackmail on the subject.

Now it's not an area of proper inquiry? Like Mitt, the position changes to fit the current needs!

10. If Cain had paid Ms. White to powder and diaper him
before j@#%ing him off, Republicans would not only be defending his marriage infidelity, but they'd be giving him a standing ovation. And Vitter would be proudly inviting Cain to participate alongside him in his next diaper extravaganza.
