[tonight] Rare Northern Lights Show Expected in the US Again
A solar event will allow for a rare viewing of the Northern Lights across parts of the United States again on Monday night.

"A medium strength CME occurred on Saturday and it is expected to reach the Earth Monday night," according to AccuWeather.com Meteorologist and Astronomy Blogger Mark Paquette.

...communities across the northern tier from Washington to the northern Great Lakes and northern New England might be able to see the light show.

1. They are a wonder to see....
Especially when they creep all they way down to the midwest...

Twice in my lifetime I have seen them and I feel blessed with good luck.

2. I wish we got those in NorCal
Yeah we get beautiful weather, sea, sun and snow, beautiful people, as well as people who don't give a shit, Yosemite, Tahoe and Lake Shasta...

But I want Aurora Borealis!

5. Gah, cloudy AGAIN. I haven't seen them all year because it's been so cloudy. I wouldn't complain if
we were at least getting some rain out of it, but no, just clouds.
