Protestors should incorporate tents into a manger scene complete with traditional cresh animals and characters. They have been trying to force publically funded manger scenes into the parks for years, it will confuse them if they are all of the sudden in the position to drive a manger scene out of the park. Finishing touch will be the sign "Occupy Bethlehem" over every manger.

Be kind to them. Treat them gently with respect. Thank them for coming. Do not leave the moral high ground, invite them to join you.
