a homeless guy. This was on a major LA boulevard in a fancier part of town. The homeless guy was very happy to get it. It was first thing in the morning. Glad more people are helping the less fortunate.

It seemed they saw him, and pulled up quickly near him and handed the meal out of the window. nice.

1. I don't have much but I do what I can.
I gave an unemployed vet with a sign a few bucks yesterday.

6. I was lost in the downtown area of San Jose one night
and I stopped the car to ask a man pushing a shopping cart for directions. He was a really nice man and we chatted for about five minutes and I handed him $5. He smiled and told me what beautiful lady I was.. I drove away also smiling, knowing that someone thought I was beautiful even if had cost me five bucks.

9. I'm always glad to see this sort of thing, but...
it does make me sad that it only seems to happen on certain days of the year.

Thanksgiving. Christmas.

The other 363 days, it's like people totally forget about it.

So, if poor or homeless people manage to survive for 363 days, at least there will be 2 whole days when they'll have something.

Why not hand a homeless person a meal just because it's April 8th...

Or because it's Tuesday...

Or because the sun is shining...

No reason than "just because"...

Why do we need holidays to do something kind?
