And silly season approaches, I expect some of the divisions to grow into deep chasms. Let's try to keep it civil. And no, OWS at times will not align with democrats. That's just the way it s. (For the record they don't align with republicans or any other party...individuals might but none of us has the authority to talk fr the movement)
What OWS wants though is a direct challenge to the system. So that will be part f the dynamic.
A direct challenge to the system is an assault on their core mechanism for money laundering. It would stop their cash flow and you know that won't be permitted. Wall Street needs another bailout...donchaknow! THE PEOPLE? Well...bootstraps and all that jazz.
5. I think the real reason 'Job Creators' hate SSI
is that it has been a very successful program that has kept America viable (from all the borrowing from SSI), unlike Wall Streets reverse vampire busniess plans to suck every single dime out of the working class.
4. No movement for change should "align" with a political party.
Not unless it has started that party, and likely not even then once the party has "matured."
It and a party may enjoy a symbiotic relationship; but each has its own needs and interests, and a movement's should not be subsumed to those of a party.
