1. I don't see how it's possible that anything could go wrong

during that Rube Goldberg-esque landing procedure.

2. Yeah, that was pretty involved wasn't it, at one stage it looked like the rockets were

firing at the Rover during the landing for a meltdown. ... bet you there will be some pretty tense nerves at mission control during that landing.

3. I don't understand why they can just land the rover on the surface

and let it out, instead of lowering with a hovering sky-crane. I understand that it's heavy but still... Oh well, I guess they know what they're doing. >_>
