I am very concerned that the 1% may be planning to start a major war.
They are going to do something to try to stop the worldwide populist democratic movements from being successful.

A major war can serve them in many ways. Below are some of these ways, but there are many other ways war serves the 1%. War is a complete, proven, time honored win-win for the 1%.

War can stop the current rapid spread of the idea of implementing a form of sensible egalitarian democracy by engaging people worldwide, often forcibly, into their service.

War will create employment, decreasing the dissatisfaction of the public with the status quo, and will cause public opinion to turn against democratic populist movements.

War will generate pseudo-patriotism. Democratic movements will be denounced as unpatriotic.

War will make them enormous profits, giving them more wealth, power, and control over us.

Remember, in war, the 1% are always above the fray. They never get hurt, or lose anything.

They profit on the blood and sacrifice of the 99%. They have always profited on the blood and sacrifice of the 1%. They have no conscience, nor concern for the welfare of human beings.

This is how they'll do it, how they always do it:

"Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on
a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of
it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people
don't want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in
Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the
country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to
drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist
dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no
voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders.
That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked,
and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the
country to danger. It works the same in any country."
-Hermann Goering

I'm just sayin"...I hope and pray that I'm wrong.

Peace

1. They're main problem with starting a major war is in this day
and age, the war can be brought to the U.S.
That's why the only countries they chose before were Iraq and Afghanistan..neither of which had any strong military. Iraq's had been seriously degraded and Afghanistan had none.

12. Exactly!!! Great wealth often knows no boundaries, for many, the US is just a
geographical location and the masses are in the way. Send them off to war, distract them from making their lot better in life, and invest heavily in the MIC. Many would welcome war as a road to great profits. It's disgusting, but factual.

20. There you go. It took a while, but WWI actually played
a MAJOR part in BOTH revolutions in '17. The proletariat and the peasantry were BOTH fed up with the war and it's attendent hardships in February '17, so they brought down the Tsar. Since the bourgeoisie replacements to the Tsar DIDN'T end the war, that led to Red October.

10. That would be awesome. But public opinion was against entering
WW I and WW II for while. And many people in this country are very easily deceived.

We could be "dragged" into war by an artificially created necessity.

In WWI WWII, chosen imperialist crazies got lots of support from the 1%, and subsequently the US was "forced" into the wars in order to stop the crazies from being successful in their madness.

Who financed Hitler so that he could build such an expensive and powerful war machine in a small country like Germany? The government of Germany was totally broke.

Or Hirohito in Japan?

Etc. Where'd they get all that money from?

American patriot in Wisconsin, and it is now a living protesting mass around the nation. OWS is fighting for us. It's a war to save America, our jobs, schools and failing infrastructure. This is the war we need now.

http://www.world-mysteries.com/sar_ga_guidestones.htm

The message in English reads:

MAINTAIN HUMANITY UNDER 500,000,000
IN PERPETUAL BALANCE WITH NATURE

GUIDE REPRODUCTION WISELY —
IMPROVING FITNESS AND DIVERSITY

UNITE HUMANITY WITH A LIVING
NEW LANGUAGE

RULE PASSION — FAITH — TRADITION
AND ALL THINGS
WITH TEMPERED REASON

PROTECT PEOPLE AND NATIONS
WITH FAIR LAWS AND JUST COURTS

LET ALL NATIONS RULE INTERNALLY
RESOLVING EXTERNAL DISPUTES
IN A WORLD COURT

AVOID PETTY LAWS AND USELESS
OFFICIALS

BALANCE PERSONAL RIGHTS WITH
SOCIAL DUTIES.

PRIZE TRUTH — BEAUTY — LOVE —
SEEKING HARMONY WITH THE
INFINITE

BE NOT A CANCER ON THE EARTH —
LEAVE ROOM FOR NATURE —
LEAVE ROOM FOR NATURE

A few feet to the west of the artifact, an additional granite ledger has been set level with the ground. This tablet identifies the structure and the languages used on it, lists various facts about the size, weight, and astronomical features of the stones, the date it was installed, and the sponsors of the project. It also speaks of a time capsule buried under the tablet, but the positions on the stone reserved for filling in the dates on which the capsule was buried and is to be opened are missing, so it is not clear whether the time capsule was ever put in place. The tablet is with one edge to each of the cardinal directions, and is inscribed such that the northern edge is the "top" of the inscription.

28. I think everyone is making a mistake to not focus in on monetary wars that are already in place.
Instead of discussing whether 'they' means Obama or the military/industrial complex that ignores this President or some other 'they' - you can remove the doubt letting some known 'they's' figure into your thinking.

A war has just taken place in Greece and Italy and what is the result? The Bilderberg Group now runs the countries. As planned.

A war doesn't have to be just bombs and massacres.

A war agenda needs the right propaganda package and as in the case of the U.S. - it needs people who will be intensely angry when told that foreigners who are not Christian committed a criminal act inside their country.

Things have changed drastically since 2003 when we went after Iraq where al Queda did not reside.

Now we are at war with the Taliban - a group of people with whom we have had and still have side agreements.

Some say we are preparing for war in Iran and Africa. I think the main reason to keep Iran on the invasion table is what is described - perpetual introduction of enemies for war profits.

Both are on the Bilderberg agenda. Iran - to gain the entire region - make friends with Iran's new leaders after the invasion. Africa - earth resources and because it may be easier to do if they do it now before the initiatives of the people go the way of Algeria and Egypt. Think one world order - think no nation sovereignty.

To keep it simple

We are fighting with weapons of deaths involving metal and chemicals in some countries.

We are fighting with weapons of propaganda in our own country, and currently in Honduras, Venezuela, Bolivia, North Korea and perpetually ongoing China and Russia - and anywhere where the enemy is a terrorist.

We are being fought against at the banking level - ponzi schemes, gimmick trades, illegal trading, thefts, and hoarding. Where is their direction coming from - it's not all from Goldman-Sachs.

Analyze and you can eliminate saying 'they'.

The Bilderberg Group is at the helm of an amazingly large assortment of think tanks, all the banking system that OWS is against - formally the Central Banks, the IMF and World Bank, the military industrial triplets - DOD, industry, corporations at the highest level, media, politicians, royalty, nation leaders, social scientists, bio-chemists, behavior specialists, and other creations, including the G Groups - G8, G20, etc.

In the U.S. - the two highest administrative entities towards the one world order are The Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission - the UK and Europe have equivalent names for their Council of Foreign Relations. The Trilateral Comm. covers the world. You can teach yourself. Ignore what you read about the Illuminati and Templars - stick to what is set in concrete in the above paragraph.

The Bilderberg Group is not just a social club. It is highly exclusive, but not just a chat group.

We should not get stuck on protesting only Wall Street. We should learn. A good start is the net (minus the stuff we can't prove - Illuminati/Templars) and the book by Daniel Estulin titled The Bilderberg Group which has a history that can be solidified to a certain extent. Sourced quotes and history, plus photos, copies of documents, and a large footnote section.

Do we really need to get stuck on using 'they' plus only thinking 'war' in terms of heavy duty death weapons?

Think about it being a war of our entire structure and legacy wherever we turn with the exception of each other - we who are the targets of the BG Empire. Quantify, qualify, verify. And I repeat, they are not that secret and they are not just a social club.

I believe the OP was specifically thinking about a hot war involving death, distruction, and MOST importantly, distraction.

As to a capitalist war on the rest of us, that's been going on forever. The Bilderberg Group is just the latest manifestation of that war. It's called a class war and Marx called it at least 160 years ago.

I wrote below about how the oligarchy could use a possible war with Iran to rescue and further their agenda, but you are right: The very same policy responses could be justified by the PTB based on a major financial collapse of this country. I think it is very likely that both will come into play.

35. Could happen
Although the "New Deal" by FDR went a long way toward our recovery from depression, many feel it was World War 2 that created the final economic recovery.

Not from the war itself (which included much economic sacrifice from US citizens), but the post war boom. In effect, the industrial infrastructure of Europe and much of Asia was destroyed. The only industrial capacity left that remained relatively unscathed was located in the United States. The competition was effectively eliminated.

In recent history, the opposite has happened. We have dismantled our manufacturing infrastructure and now it is China that will take on the role of industrial giant.

So yes, I believe your theory has merit. I could see corporate America initiating war to stifle the competition.

After all, isn't that what happened in Iraq?

Think about it. Big oil president (Bush) + big oil country (Iraq) = war to gain competitive edge.

It is going to happen again and when the commodity is food as opposed to oil (will definitely occur with unrestrained population growth), the stakes will be much higher. Starving populace can be very supportive of conflict.

As Bob Dylan sang "When you ain't got nothing, you got nothing to lose"

36. Oh, I think this is exactly where they are headed.
It is the best possible solution for them: the single strategy that would allow them to do all of the following simultaneously:

1. Turn America's attention from OWS to a manufactured threat,

2. Justify an increased militarized police presence and the clearing of OWS from our streets (because public order will be critical to ensure public safety in time of war).

3. Justify increased surveillance and control of American citizens, the internet, and other communication systems.

4. Justify massive funding for the military industrial complex during a time when this would not otherwise be politically possible,

and

5. Sweep off the table entirely any possibility of Wall Street reforms, because the banks will be desperately needed to fund the war.
