actually i miss everything BUT the 405! i wrote bumperstickers back in the day, my favorite was i brake for the 405.
worst road i know of, the 405.
but don't feel too bad. here in NC going home on the 540 reminds me of home everyday. and i just now noticed that it's the same 3 numbers...hmmm lol

16. That's so true!

I usually avoid the 405 at all costs and take la Cienega but nooooooo. Now they have closed entire lanes and are doing construction of that route until March. My commute went from 30 minutes to 55. That's 25 minutes a day I could be having light saber battles with my seven year old but instead spend stuck in traffic. O well spring will be better :)

I was just in LA a couple of weeks ago. On the way to the airport early in the morning and it sucked! I wound up taking La Cienega all the way and yes....the construction along that street sucks too! :-)

9. LAPD can behave decently. This protest and the ensuing arrests were all

choreographed so the cops and protesters knew what would happen and when and why and nobody would get hurt. CIVILIZED civil disobedience.

NYPD would do well to take notes. Oakland, too.
