1. No.
As douchey as I think Bloomberg is, I think the entire "recall" movement of elections is even douchier.
I thought it was wrong when they did it to Grey Davis, and I think it would wrong to do it to Bloomberg.
Besides, I think it would be a waste of ink, since it ain't gonna happen.

4. As He Cheated To Get A Third Term....
As the citizens of this city had put term limits in place by a legal vote, a vote he connived with the City Council to overturn, I think he should've been recalled yesterday and I would vote for it tomorrow as he has no real right to be there in the first place. Interestingly, a day after the vote was overturned a poll came out that said a majority of the citizens didn't want the CC to act on his request.

2. Yes, I would be in favor of a recall
If there is enough public outcry, the people should have the power to remove a politician at any time.

5. No, because NYC doesn't have a recall provision in its Charter...

6. Then how does a New Yorker oust a Billionaire from the Mayor's seat?
There must be a way. Please enlighten us...

7. Pick a better Mayor next time...
Bloomberg isn't running for a fourth term.

That being said, people need to evaluate the Democratic choices closely. We're in our FIFTH term of a non-Republican Mayor in large part because the Democratic Party has focused so much on ethic/geographic subgroups to produce candidates, that none have been able to pull the Party together on Eleciton day

8. no, don't want to confuse his actions towards OWS with his 3rd term - separate issues
That said, I don't think we should just shut up and take it. I hope lots of criticism about his handling OWS makes it in the papers, and I hope it goes viral over the internet like a bad case of clap that doesn't go away.

I don't approve of a few things he's done including his 3rd term, and the woman he installed in the board of ed. But he has brought a lot of green programs to NYC... bike lanes everywhere, tree planting, other green initiatives that leaders would have rejected.
