My hope is that politicians from top to bottom, the Presidency on down
feel the heat from the OWS.

I don't care if Obama looks bad. I don't care if Obama suffers politically. Too many people are suffering as it is.

We need change top to bottom in our politics. It has to happen and no one person is above it.

Either they get in and do what's right or get the hell out of the way.

2. With its focus on Wall Street, it gives cover for politicians to do the right things
if they dare choose to.

7. They can focus on both. Leaving politicians off scott free won't accomplish a danged thing.
They are the ones who can actually write the legislation to change it. A president can sign that legislation.

Without a focus and pressure there, they won't bother to do a damned thing.

5. As both parties get ready to spend a billion dollars next year
on the Oval Office. But hey, corporations are allowed to buy and sell now without having to hide it. We've become a plutocracy and some at the top are mad at OWS for not shutting up about it! OWS is a direct result of the disgust at things like the TARP program. And that doesn't settle well with the status quo supporters.

11. Yep, it's obscene. I don't have another word for it..... obscene.
A protest against wall street, without protesting their partners in crime (politicians) isn't going to work as well as it could.

14. I agree 100%
If this gets ugly with the fingerpointing then so be it...you cannot leave the enablers out of the equation. Otherwise, they just wait for another paymaster to come along.
