A conversation with a right winger about laziness and the OWS (I don't know if they're evil or dumb)
I thought I’d entertain a few of you this am with the exchange between a rightwing lackey and me.

(This one started on the heels of this idiot talking as if humans were born with a LAZY GENE, and I accused him of thinking this way).

====================================================

ME: Okay, so you said this: "I do not believe that people are basically slothful.." Then why do you behave and think as if you did?

RIGHT WINGNUT: I don't.  I believe they are rational.  You feel we should guarantee a middle class income for everyone.  I don't believe people should be allowed to starve or go without shelter, but we should NOT guarantee more that the basics.

ME: I think you’re delusional. What you believe is the basics, is not even the basics. I already know this. We’ve been down this f-d up road before. I think a living wage should be guaranteed, and those who can't take care of themselves should be cared for.  I do, however, want to get to the bottom of your basis of belief of slothfulness, which you deny but I have seen clearly.  Explain this slothfulness belief further:
(1) What is slothfulness in people?
(2) What do you think causes slothfulness in people?
(3) Do you believe all people are basically slothful?
(4) Do you think the rich that inherit are not slothful?
(5) Do you think that you are slothful?  If yes, why?  If no, why not?

RIGHT WINGNUT: No.  You explain to me why the farmers in Alabama cannot find workers with the unemployment rate as high as it is there.

ME: Because the threats of prison have caused migrant workers to go home to Mexico.
http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/alabama-immigration-law-causing-produce-to-rot-in-the-fields/
And why don't Americans take these jobs?
(1) Who has the frikkin' gas money to go miles and miles to pick?
(2) What does $2.50/hour pay for?  Rent?  Food?  Where?  When?  In the U.S. of 1910?
(3) Who stays with children if women are going to displace themselves to go 30 miles to pick at $2.50/hour?  You?  Or will you pay for their child care at 4 times that price?
You are a linear thinker, XXXX.  You don't see everything that is in the world, you don't understand that everything is complex.  You just think things are easy for everyone else except for you.

RIGHT WINGNUT: Which means the jobs are open.  Why are they not being taken by Americans who want to work?

ME: Do you read English?  It seems you don't. You’re too busy being the happy, brain-dead lackey of the right wing wealthy. I just told you why Americans don’t take those jobs.. Return to that e-mail and read it.  If you read through e-mails as carefully as you did that one, small wonder you are clueless about what's going on around in the world, and are so utterly obsequious to those who are f-ing up your country.

====================================================

RIGHT WINGNUT: I dare you to defend this from Occupy Wall Street.  Find anything even close at a Tea Party Rally.  If you think this is in any way defensible, do not write me again!  You have gone completely nuts.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ilq_66LnRaw

ME: An entire peaceful movement, and you manage to dig up the only example Fucks News could dig up with someone behaving extreme. You trip over yourself to run and 'forgive' every perverted, violent, and fucked up behavior in your beloved right wingnut groups, but oh boy, a death penalty is deserved for 1 lib that isn’t moderately pleasant. You'd make one fantabulously GREAT Rightwingnut Pep Club Captain, Dan.  Fucks News would give you one heck of a big medal.  You're a lackey with a BIG L. And by the way, for someone who defends the revolution against the British overlords, and taxation without representation, you sure have turned into a coward about this revolution against the overlords here, and taxation without representation. Of course I'd be glad not to write you again. Do I need an empty-brained serf flapping his jaws, repeating what he's been told to repeat, to waste my precious time on? Uh... the answer to that is a clear no.

RIGHT WINGNUT: You are the one for taxation.  The representatives I vote to elect are those who are against it.  You are all for more taxes so long as you are taxing someone else.  Now defend that idiot calling for the burning of NY.

ME: Naturally. I am for taxation because I’m not a 2 year old, dreaming that Santa Claus will take care of everything. You, on the other hand, live in a fairy tale world in which things are run moneyless and magically.  XXXX, that's why you're a right wingnut.  Your brain is absent of any logic whatsoever, you read absolutely frikkin' NOTHING but chewed-up-1%-lackey-propaganda pablum from Fucks News, you drink right wing Kool-Aid from the GOP reps who want you to remain a serf and keep their asses living well off you, and though deep down inside you might realize it's all one huge pile of dogshit, you blind yourself to it and follow orders, because it's like a pep club of sorts. Cheering for the Wingnut Party just makes you feel sooo cozy that nothing else matters.  Granted, they might be turning your country into a 3rd world nation, and impoverishing you (as they already have), but what about that cozy feeling loving up those fuckers gives you, huh?  Can’t let that warm feeling go, can you, XXXX? Please seriously consider become a Republican politician shoe polisher. It suits you well.

2. Can you imagine how much human creative power would be released if
all the basic needs of food housing and health were taken care
of so we could transfer the energy used obtaining them to
creative pursuits?

11. They certainly don't. This idiot is impoverished because of the damage done to our country by RWers
And yet he still defends them. Voting against his self-interests is his hobby. Stupid, stupid man.

22. All government hating wingnuts should practice what they preach by
refusing to drive on public roads, not calling the police or fire department in case of an emergency, not sending their kids to a public school or letting them play in a public park, refusing to utilize public utilities, and generally turning their back on all other government-sponsored services.

It's painfully obvious that the idiot fringe is completely clueless and delusional.

6. Right-Wing-Nuts are so crude and predictably stupid always
This idiot right-wing-nut did not address any of the issues that he was asked about in this conversation. The typical rethug MO - never to address any issue/fact when it is not in their favor. No surprise there!

15. They can't. Logic is their worst enemy, and having to confront truth, would destroy
everything they believe in.

12. Is it mainly right-wing men? I ask because I've noticed this phenomenon...
I have the same exchanges, ad nauseum so it seems, with right-wing men. I'm female, btw.

I was wondering why they seem to go out of their way to debate me and argue with me (the right-wing females just unfriend me...lol).

Then someone suggested it's because they feel we must show me the error of my ways, especially because I'm a woman. They feel it's their duty.

Hmmm...........

14. YES! Right wing males seem to have a problem processing. (Another reason to love lib males)
Edited on Thu Nov-17-11 04:04 PM by Sarah Ibarruri
Maybe that's the basis of their beliefs, their inability to process stimuli properly? I never let up in a discussion, so they soon grow frustrated and get vicious, but viciousness never has deterred me, and suddenly they're calling me a feminist, which I consider a HUGE compliment, and I let them know that. :-D

I know what you mean about right wing females just ending the discussion. I have a strong suspicion that right wing females are right wing because they are married to or have boyfriends who are right wing nuts. Some might also be members of some Bible-banging church, and feel compelled to worship their god with the right wing ideology of churches. So yes, usually it's right wing males that behave so densely, not necessarily right wing females, who just 'go along' with right wing bullshit.

By the way, if you really want to piss off a right wing nut male, just tell him you won the argument, and that he lost. They take it so hard they might even jump off a bridge LOL!

16. I first noticed that phenomenon back in the 1990s with the first attempt to
pass an anti-gay initiative in Oregon.

A man and woman had set up a table in the downtown area of the small town where I was living, and they were urging people to vote yes. I walked up and asked them what they were afraid of, and finally the man said, "I don't want my sons molested by some perv at school!"

I told them about the teacher at my high school who had molested girls for over twenty years before the school board fired him.

"So," I said, "I guess we shouldn't let heterosexual men teach school either. Maybe only eunuchs should teach school."

At that, the woman burst out laughing, and the man glared at her.

17. Good for you!! Yes, it is a phenomenon. Unless it's women whose hormones are questionable...
I suspect right wing females are just 'going along with' the psychotic, right wing male (or pastor) in their lives.

18. LOL. Every single female in question, in my experience, is a thumper...
Being the "good wife" and going along with the conservative talking points no doubt is part of it, but it's usually when I bring up the hypocrisy and ask (very nicely, mind you)...well, hell, hold on, I'll share what I posted this morning:

I posted this "God Bless Income Disparity" article this morning: http://www.businessinsider.com/dennis-gartman-god-bless-income-disparity-2011-11

Along with this comment:

Is this how some conservatives feel, even if not currently wealthy? Is it the hope of becoming extraordinarily wealthy that fuels resentment of anyone or anything that is perceived as getting in the way of that? If so, I applaud the honesty, though feel this attitude is harmful to our world as a whole. The one thing I would ask people is this: Do you consider yourself a religious person? If so, how do you reconcile a desire for wealth, combined with an indifference about inequality, with the teachings of most religions? Most, certainly Christianity, espouse humility and generosity and condemn avarice and greed. I'm not asking anyone to share openly unless you really want to; I simply offer this for consideration and honest contemplation.

I go to great lengths to be NICE, but bringing up their religious hypocrisy does them in and they go *poof*.

But I am SO going to do that with the men. I can't wait to say, "I win, you lose!"

THAT will be delightful, and so uncharacteristic of me. That will send them over the edge for sure. ;)

:hi:

I have no problem sending them over the edge. The more over the edge, the less of them there will be. :)

And by the way, you have described right wing Bible bangers too well.
