I was driving through a very poorly lit parking lot one night and hit an unpainted divider.

The security guards I reported the accident to treated me like it was somehow my fault, that I was somehow at fault. Then one of them said; "You're like the third person this week who's hit that!"

I said; "How funny. You might think the problem is with the parking lot." He realized at that moment that he had all but admitted that the issue was in fact the lot, not the drivers.
