27. www.wbai.org is also covering this live with a reporter in the street
Unfortunately, I can't access the visual live streams at work, but I can get radio on my iPhone.

31. They just reported that cellphones may be jammed in the street
Couldn't do a live call-in report, so they had to record what was happening and run back to the station to play it.

At what point does Manhattan gridlock? At what point does the police attempt to protect Wall Street keep the stockbrokers and clerks from getting to work?

toward Wall St. It's closed off, you need a work id to get in.

35. Yeah, but it is because of what is happening in Europe,
rather than what is happening in Manhattan.

Their world is shaking, but every OWS protester could vanish from the streets, or the number could double, and it wouldn't change much. In some ways, this demonstration is ill-timed.

36. Imagine, if you will...
the protesters rush the cops, storm the stock exchange and destroy the computers.

That would be the shot hear 'round the world, bastille day wrapped in one.

I can dream.
