Jersey City here. I'll be taking the PATH across the river in a few hours. I have a feeling this is going to get ugly. They won't take kindly to us LITERALLY marching on Wall Street. I'll send you Pictures of Zuccotti Park and then, most likely, pictures of a police riot. I'm a 50 year old construction worker in a field that now has 30% unemployment as a direct result of Wall Street gaming the system. I'm ready and not afraid to get my ass kicked fighting back. I love these idealistic kids who are standing up for my rights.

Scary! I was caught right in the middle of two corners with protesters running back and forth and angry cops walking by me with billy clubs. After being busted on the Brooklyn Bridge I don't need to be popped again. (And possibly grabbed and beaten at random.) At the bar having a drink. More later. Expect some ugly reports of extreme violence on Countdown tonight.

19. I have pictures of the beginning and middle of the march

but not the end. It was hard to get a picture of the violence when so many brave, incredibly brave, kids rushed the cops to document the violence.

And women, girls, you can't imagine how proud you should be of women today. You have no idea how scary it is to be near someone who can and will commit exterme violence against you with no worry of jail time. I'm talking 110 pound women running past me toward violent thugs who had no problem, and wanted to, beat you. This was a girl power day as much as anything else. You rock, ladies!

(Some people who post here would agree. But I'm nice to puppies, just not nice to you if you annoy me... Hey, I'm making myself laugh a little. Needed that cause this day was traumatic. But this fight ain't done!)
