A reminder to all the big-city mayors who took part in the Tuesday Night Putsch

There were just as many, if not more, drug abusers on the streets of our cities before Occupy as there were during the encampments.

Same for sanitation issues.

Same for fire hazards.

Same for crime.

Same for violence.


None of the Occupations caused any of the above to get worse, and none of the above justified the putsch.

5. "Putsch"? OWS was the legally-constituted government? What an obscene reversal of language.

The depth's to which folks will mangle & torture Godwin's Law to absolute metaphorical death on the internet knows no bounds. Here's what an actual "putsch" looks like:

It involves duly elected and constituted authority nipping Nazis in the bud, not the reverse

OWS are not the Nazis. Neither are the authorities who find themselves for practical reasons in operational, as opposed to ideological or political, opposition to their physical recalcitrance in public parks in largely Democratic and Blue cities, said largely Democratic authorities only trying to run their municipalities.

You can do better than this OP, Ken. Please give it a rework.

and we did not invade Laos either... or send agents into the civil rights movement, until well we did. It is the same situation. The fact that they are now denying after Quan spilled beans is like textbook.

Of couse photos of the Anti Terrorism unit and DHS at different places speak to it. so I expect this to be ahem CLEARED faster.
