Wednesday night, Daily Show host Jon Stewart took Congress for task for focusing not on slashing the budget or job creation or the like but on… declaring pizza a vegetable. Sigh. After devoting an inordinate amount of time to the topic of hypothetical auto-fellation, Stewart shared that, if the Super Committee fails to come up with cuts by November 23rd, $1.2 trillion will automatically be cut from the Pentagon and Medicare, as well as from other programs.
