National Day of Action! Clairemont Bridge Thursday, 17 Nov 2011, 4:00 PM

This is a joint effort!
Let's join with San Diego Unions and the nation to express to Congress that they have the power to get us out of economic crisis, rebuilding our infrastructures, creating jobs.

Message from host:... This is a joint effort. The AFL CIO set the time and place. The San Diego Labor Council will invite all unions in the area. Occupy, MoveOn, the ACCE, the Veteran's for Peace, the UU and other organizations will join. Power in #s! Otherwise bring signs and banners and let our voice be heard!

Directions: Take I-5 northbound. We will hang banners and gather on Clairemont Bridge. That is the bridge between exit 21 and exit 22 when you are going north on I-5. You can get off at exit 21 and park at Mission Bay Park at 1775 E. Mission Bay Drive

===================

So I plan to be there, with camera... paper. pencil and the rest. I simply expect to be there, to witness and report. But I fear our lovely PD will do what they have been doing for a while. I am willing to be there, even if personally get pepper sprayed... or worst.

I just simply expect it at this point.

It is predictable...

And yes, I expect violence and arrest tomorrow nation wide and I expect THAT to run by our lovely independent media :sarcasm: The major aspects, why people are taking to the streets, will be replaced by a police blotter.

This is like it always is. So we, citizen journos, will have a role to play tomorrow... as we slowly claw back into those rights that have been eroded in major ways.

There will be more to this story than just the police blotter...

Yes, tonight I expect to get some rest.. I know I will need it.
