I know she doesn't like me much, and we've disagreed many times over the years. Still, I've always respected her and appreciated her voice here.

I rarely post anymore, myself. And it may be that she, like me, doesn't see much point in it any longer. 'Cuz, I suspect, she and I are more alike than either of us would have wanted to admit.

On DU, Cali and I have at times disagreed. No matter now, though. She is a friend and I hope she is getting on the mend.

5. Thank you, Octafish. I missed that thread, I was out of town & away from a computer that week.

I'm so sorry she went through that, and I certainly hope that she has been healing well since then.

Like you, I've had my (many) disagreements with cali, but I've always felt a certain affection for her at the same time.

I appreciate your bringing that post to this thread.
