Secret Santa Hands Out $100 Bills

Des Moines Residents Shocked By Man's Generosity


A mystery Santa brought some joy to Des Moines on Wednesday, handing out $100 bills to shocked strangers.

Most were incredulous when they turned over the Christmas card and discovered the money on the other side. Others were skeptical, wanting to know what they had to do in return, while some burst into tears.

"I'm serious," the secret Santa, who wished to remain anonymous, told one woman. "I'm doing this today for a lot of people."
