"Are you sexually attracted to young boys?"
Costa asked Sandusky.

Sandusky repeats the question as if it is as mundane as "do you like eating eggs?" The question is loaded with emotion and innuendo, and he has to think about it. A question like that would be so repulsive to me that I don't know how I could keep from screaming my reply back.

1. Normal people would find it horrendous that they would be accused of something serious

3. After that interview, I felt so disgusted that I needed to take a shower...
but even that sounded disgusting.

:scared:

8. Yeah. Geez, how long does an innocent person need to think about that one? nt

6. Bingo. Instead, the perv spent an inordinate amount of time pleasantly "explaining" his behavior.
A normal person would be pissed. He answered it like he was saying "Why no, I don't like beets, but I do enjoy mashed turnip on occasion."

9. When I was a kid, NAMBLA was on Donahue and every other talk show
No doubt Sandusky thought it was OK, lord knows society then debated its role.

Disgustingly dark ages, yet only yesterday...

10. hey jerry...10 More Alleged Victims Reportedly Come Forward In Penn State Scandal
i can't wait to hear their side of the story

STATE COLLEGE, PA (PIX11)— More alleged victims have contacted law enforcement authorities since former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky was arrested earlier this month. According to the NY Times approximately 10 victims in all, a development many have feared would be inevitable.

Sandusky spoke publically for the first time since being charged and since his former boss, legendary football coach Joe Paterno, was fired for his role in the case. "I could say that I have done some of those things. I have horsed around with kids I have showered after workouts." Sandusky told Bob Costas in a Rock Center interview, "… I have hugged them and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact."

But Sandusky denied being a pedophile, and his lawyer Joe Amendola took to the airwaves at the same time with the same message "The bottom line is jocks do that. They kid around, they horse around."

Meanwhile some are questioning the impartiality of the judge in the case. Judge Sandy Dutchcot chose not to recuse herself despite having volunteered Second Mile, the charity Sandusky founded and from which he came into contact with all 8 victims in the original indictment. Prosecutors had asked for $500,000 bail, but Judge Dutchcot released Sandusky on $100,000 unsecured bail – which means he doesn't not pay a dime, unless he fails to show up for his court appearance next month. And in another sign of leniency, given Sandusky essentially faces spending the rest of his life in prison if convicted, prosecutors had asked for ankle bracelet monitoring. Judge Dutchcot refused that request.

11. His lawyer must be losing his mind!
Or maybe he lost it already. How on earth did he allow this interview?

With representation like that. Sandusky has no hope.

13. No shit...
...what kind of lawyer would advise Sandusky to talk? Any lawyer would have a muzzle
on this guy because there is NOTHING that Sandusky can say that would help him at this
point--but so much that could hurt him.

Don't get me wrong--I'm glad Sandusky did the interview and further made the prosecution's
case.

The prosecution needed to prove that Sandusky did things like shower with boys. There
was only one witness to the showering, so the prosecution had the burden of helping
the jury to believe the witness. Now, the prosecution has Sandusky admitting that he
showered with boys. Oy vey! I hope this myopic pedophile does another interview tomorrow!

The only reason Sandusky talked is because that is what pedophiles are like. EVERYTHING
is ALL ABOUT THEM. Can you imagine the mindset in a person who acts sexually with
children? They have to mentally get to a point where having sex or sexually touching
a child is neither good or bad...it's just what happens. They must rationalize and
justify their sick crimes against children--and make it ok in their own head.

For so long--they've got this long-running tape in their head that drones on and on and
on about how sex with kids is ok, and that they're a good person, and they're really helping
kids and nice guys like themselves aren't really pedophiles, and maybe the kids wanted
to have sex, etc., etc. Years of deluded self talk goes on in these types.

Sandusky only did the interview because he wanted to share his opinions about himself with us.
He couldn't take it that we didn't know what a great guy, terrific humanitarian and innocent
person he was.

It's just so sick. I wish I didn't understand these creeps so well. They are society's
most complex, deluded and cowardly people and I wish that we didn't have to be subjected
to their damage nor to their bizarre and foolish distortions.
